It's winter break now. Besides going to church, I've been staying at home a lot. Life at home with no homework or deadlines make me lazy.
I hope to read some books, sort out the photos in my computer, and organize some things so I can be set for the new semester next year.
If you've never heard of Compassion, I really encourage you to consider sponsoring a child. I just received my child's information and photo yesterday and I already love him so much. He's 9 years old.
I have a few friends here at Moody who were Compassion children and their lives are truly testimonies of God's love.
I have been encouraged and touched by their lives.
When you sponsor a child, you pray for him/her and write letters to encourage your child. It's a $38 per month commitment but it is so worth it.
Here's the Compassion website.
Watch their videos on youtube.
Or this video on facebook of the four Moody students I know.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:23-25
